Skylake Freezing issue in Maya rendering

Hello All,

I got 2 RIG recently bought and assemble and now I was up for installing driviers but I felt that my pc is hanging when i am moving Picture from here to there, I look on net and found that skylake got problem freezing and you have to update the Bios. So i got confused that if this is the skylake issue or something else cuz now every thing is out of box no one would return it and both rigs are for maya related work small time rendering and 3d stuff. Please guide what should i do and is the issue related to skylake freezing or some driver issue or it needed windows reinstalling, Please help.

First Rig
i6700
GA-Z170-HD3
16gig ddr4
GTX 660
630 Watt thermal intake PSU
1 TB harddrive

Second Rig
i6700
H110M-K D3
16gig ddr3
GTX 650
630 Watt thermal intake PSU
1 TB harddrive

Please tell me do i need a Bios Update cuz i have heard its not good to do Bios Update
Please tell me that my money is not wasted 🙁

You need a bios update.
There was a bug found in Skylake CPUs and a bios update is the only fix.

for both motherboards ?? can u please attach links for both which one to install and i am curious will that bug will cuz Maya rendering issues and freezes too.

H110M-K D3 Can not link directly to bios pages. Select OS then Bios. use latest one
