Should i go with skylake or not, and if i go with skylake what motherboard should i choose.

For the negligible price difference in picking up Skylake, I would suggest you just go for it.

As far as motherboards go, there's many more Z170 board than H170. Although H is all you need, a Z board will be easier to identify.

So, from the information in your build, you need a DDR4 board, probably 4xDIMM slots (for future expansion), maybe SLI capability? ....and a red/black colour scheme?

So, I narrow that down to the Gigabye GA-Z170(MX/X)-Gaming 5. Either MicroATX or ATX available.
