Skylake-S CPUs announced and launched, but only one retailer has them in stock?

Intel supposedly launched the 6700K and 6600K today with their announcement at Gamescom, but it appears that only on retailer has listings for them - NCIX. To make matters more confusing, NCIX is on backorder.

Did the new i5 and i7 launch today and NCIX just got flooded with orders (being the only retailer to sell them), or are we still waiting for the official launch?

Solution
in PC hardware, whenever something new launches, there is a time where there is NO stock, and stuff is really hard to find, but in about 2 weeks everything should settle, and retails will have stock to sell.
Since Intel decided to keep the details of Skylake's architecture under wraps until IDF - notice the lack of comparative architectural review against Broadwell and Haswell in launch-day reviews - the reviews we have now are more like an unveiling than a full-scale launch. Full-scale availability will likely wait until Intel is done with their IDF reveal and announcements.

I was just wondering because I'm stuck using my laptop until I can get my hands on some Skylake hardware. I gave my 4790K to my brother and sold the rest of my computer (minus the storage and GPU) because the board was making CPUs in it run a little toasty (45-50C idle at stock speeds regardless of case airflow and mounted cooler).
