I just downloaded Skyrim for my Mac. But the problem is the FPS is to low and laggy to play the game i'm all ready running low graphs but it needs to go lower and I can't install any mod's for the game (unless someone tells me how to install them for mac) any other help would be appreciated.

I have other games like Fallout New Vagas that is playable with little lag, Borderlands 1&2 lag free, Dishonoured also lag free. I also host port forwarded and Hamachi servers form my computer lag free. Skyrim is the only game that i can't run (I guess because of the size) any tips?

My mac is late 2011 and i have 4 gigs of ram.

Im running it on a Wrapper and a Mac BookPro
I was expecting the game to be a little laggy, it being a wrapper, but no so laggy i cant play the game!
I have Fallout NV as a wrapper as well but that runs fine its just skyrim im having this problem with.

Spec wise skyrim is slightly more taxing than New Vegas but as skyrim uses a variation of the same engine a Medium of N Vegas should equate to around low on skyrim ( What could you put NV up to and Where does Skyrim does it lag) however any programs performance is very diluted and random when using a wrapper as its effectively emulating windows and putting alot more strain on your hardware. To save you from hassle I would just recommend U just get Bootcamp if you want to keep playing modern Games such as Skyrim. If you don't want boot camp due to financial reasons you can legally use it for free for 90 days (longer if you run a few commands ) by downloading this ISO ( "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-GB/evalcenter/jj554510.aspx" ) this works fine for bootcamp gaming as I used that for over 180 days and played Oblivion ,Morrowind Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim with no issues on my rMBP. If you dont want bootcamp for other reasons getting skyrim to run natively will be hard maybe try low poly and low Res texture mods?.
