I recently built my own computer it works perfectly I can run pretty much any game I want I run Battlefield 4 at Ultra graphics with no FPS drop whatsoever.

Skyrim was one of the first games I downloaded as I love playing it I could only run it on low graphics with slight FPS drop very rarely on my laptop. When I started it the first time it said set default graphics to ultra so I opened it up looked around to see the differences I went and downloaded the ultra resolution texture DLC first time running it there was a singles slight FPS drop but nothing major. I wanted to download mods and my friend recommended me some.

I downloaded Nexus mod manager and downloaded the following mods and installed by nexus mod manager (a button on the site says download via manager):
- Skyrim Script Extender
-Wet and cold
-Realistic Lighting overhaul
-Xenius Character Enhancement
-Enhanced Lights and FX
-Realistic Waters two

NOTE: I didn't install them in that order or any specific order other than script extender first and enhanced lights before realistic lighting.

After they were all installed I decided to run it on an old save and look around at the changes I don't have a very good eye for graphical details it has gotten better over time so I noticed slight changes I liked it and I was excited to see Wet and Cold working. I decided to create a new save and start playing I have reached the part where the companions are fighting the giant I shot it a few times helped them out then was walking to Whiterun when I passed the stables skyrim would crash. I reloaded it again. So I tried walking around far away from the stables but it crashed. I uninstalled all the mods by opening mod manager and double clicking them and it says they were uninstalled. I tried again it crashed I disabled the DLC via the skyrim start menu and tried again this time I got into Whiterun but after some time it crashed again.

So it wasn't any of the mods or the DLC apparently so I don't know what it is.

My computer specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz 6-core processor
GPU: Gigabyte radeon R9 270X 2GB OC
RAM: 12GB but only 7.96GB available
OS: Windows 8.1

If you need to know any other parts just let me know.

Always get SKSE from the source: http://skse.silverlock.org/

They are the creators and have the most up to date version. Also, you should look into getting the unofficial patches for the game+DLC. They usually have to be put in a specific load order but they fix a lot of problems that Bethesda was too lazy to. When I get home I can link you a list of good mods that work together (or they did work together).

Also, I'm pretty sure that SKSE has to be manually installed but maybe NMM can install it now?
There are so many reasons why Skyrim may crash, many of them specific to your setup and mod order. Your build specs are fine. I'd first recommend downloading BOSS, and having that sort your load order. Also, using Wrye Bash to manage your mods can be very helpful, and it can point out missing masters and corrupt saves (e.g. that save required a mod that you've since removed). Many CTD issues can be solved just by using a proper mod order. If you've removed any mods along the way, especially script heavy mods, then any savegames from that point after may be corrupted. In that case, either reinstall that removed mod, or revert to a save before that mod was installed if you don't want to use it anymore.

Also, ENBboost can greatly help with memory management as it has a workaround for Skyrims 4 gig limit, as can Shesons (spelling?) memory patch (which is a must have for anyone who wants a stabler Skyrim!). That patch is now is included in SKSE 1.7 alpha anyway. There's a whole world out there for making Skyrim stable. Mine is pretty darn stable now, with over 100 mods and Reavision ENB, but it took some diligence.

You're not going to like this, but if you install mods and then save your games with those mods installed, you can permanently corrupt your save if the mods conflicted. You may need to start a new game with no mods to get rid of the crashing.

The Skyrim Script Extender is pretty much essential, and as far as I know it never causes any crashes.

I use Wet and Cold with no crashes...

Realistic Lighting Overhaul and Enhanced Lights and FX may conflict. They're both large mods that affect many of the same things, so I don't recommend using them both at the same time.

Xenius Character Enhancement is good, but also totally unnecessary now. It was most popular right after launch, not so much anymore. Now the Official HD DLC does the same thing to the characters.

Realistic Water 2 is quite a heavy mod, which impacts performance and has the potential to cause crashes. If you use it, I recommend testing it for at least 3-4 hours on a new save with no other mods installed before you start a serious game or add other mods.

Also... shameless promotion of one of my mods!

I had asked my friend about it crashing and he told me to get BOSS so I did it tells me that my skyrim script extender isn't up to date however I downloaded from the nexus mod site again. Uninstalled it from mod manager and installed it again but it says the same thing.
