Hi,
So, I want to get married in Skyrim. The marriage preparations are fine, and I can talk to Maramal, and he says that my marriage will be held the following day. I can get to the quest that says attend your wedding ceremony. The cutscene does not play, and everyone just sits there, congratulating me, while my fiance says the same thing repeatedly. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is there any console command to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! THanks in advance.

Have you tried entering the building/area and then 'Waiting' for 1 hour? This has worked for me in the past on certain quests. May have to 'Wait' a few times, at certain time of the day, etc.

I have tried leaving and coming back, and I have tried waiting. However, I don't think I tried to do both at once. Do you think this will work? Also, is there anything else you think I can do, just in case that doesn't work?

I don't remember as it's been a while -- but I know you need to wear the Amulet of Mara at some point in this quest, not sure if it's for the ceremony. maybe try putting that on?

Just to be clear -- by waiting, I don't mean just standing there; I mean using the Wait function e.g. wait 1hr. and then the time instantly passes.

Other than that, make sure the quest is your active quest. Just throwing out some ideas here

I guess the marriage thing is broken. I have worn the amulet during the ceremony, and I did use the wait function in hourly periods. The quest is also active. I think that this may be another bug.

And I have a different question as well. Today I realized that all the children in Skyrim are gone! The only child mod I have is the RS Child Overhaul. My children aren't there, and there isn't any other children. At first, I thought it was only Whiterun, but I went to the orphanage in Riften to double check, and there are no children there either. Could you help me on this one, or should I start a separate thread?
