I am going to get Skyrim soon on my PC and I'm wondering if I can get it to look as good as what this guy has got minus the 4k resolution. I'm going for 1080p as my monitor is that at 60hz. My graphics card is a nvidia gtx 960 with 4GB of VRAM, My RAM is 8GB or more specifically 2x4GB of RAM.

I just want to know if I can run this at (insert frame rate here)

Hi,
From what i saw it seems that the GPU and the 4K played a big role. I'm still confused on which GPU to buy but it seems that Skyrim does utilize Vram extensively especially with MODS. Although not exactly the same you should get the best on 1080p. The 960 is great upto 1080. So the gameplay will definitely be smooth with many details set to max. As far as i tried searching there are not many people (at least who put up a review) who have the GTX 960 4GB. But the game will definielty work excellent if not great.

PS: There is a big difference between the 780 and the 960 (they are not even in the same segment). So dont expect it to play as goood as his. But about 20% less. Which would still run good.

Todays 960 is roughly a 700 series 770 speed wise.

Difference between a 770 and a 780 was about 20%. If he was pushing 4k, and you are only going to have 1080, you will be fine as long as you have a decent monitor. 4K video is roughly 4 times the pixels 1080 has.
