Slashes "////" keep typing at windows login screen, then if i press any key, it will stop and everything's fine.

Hello,

I had this problem since before I even upgraded to windows 10, was running windows 7.

It only happens at startup, after I login, I can use the computer perfectly, no keyboard problems. Is there any way to solve this?

I have done a reset and reinstalled windows using the windows 10 "Reset this PC". I have cleaned the all the drives. But the problem still persists.

Although it does not affect the usage of the computer, I would like to solve this problem?
Any help?

is your keyboard a brand name or generic? do slashes appear if keyboard is unplugged?

It is a laptop. Lenovo Z500 non-touch

Hello, I recently got a usb keyboard and after I uninstalled the built in keyboard, the problem is gone. So, the built in keyboard was the main problem.

Although I havn't tried your solution, it may or may not fix the problem. (It doesn't matter anyway). So the point is there was a problem with the built in keyboard and finally figured out that was the cause of the slashes "////" at the login screen.
