Slave drive not visable in windows

Hello,
ive tried hooking up a second harddrive to my windows xp sp3 comp. it shows up in bios but not in windows. it has linux on the slave drive. is this why it doesnt show? is there some way i can partition it so its partially usable by windows.

Yes, you can install an ext3 driver, if that is the format of the Linux partition.
There is also a NTFS driver for Linux.

You can partition all or part of it as FAT32. It will then be visible in both systems.
