Just bought Morrowind and played the first five hours; it's like
EverQuest plus Baldur's Gate.

Great isn't it :), and I have to admit when I got it I spent most of the
day....and night playing it 😉

Welcome to Vvardenfell! It only gets deeper from there! Did you get the
add-ons, bloodmoon and tribunal too? They add alot to the game. Then start
checking out mods as well. You're in for a long ride, enjoy!

Yes, it's very engrossing, isn't it. As I am used to RPG-ing in a
group, I got the Laura mod, to give me the sense I am travelling with
someone. It's great that way, even if she does ask for presents then
takes the nice shiny ruby I just looted 😀 She does dance very
nicely though, and woe betide the monster that picks on her!! There's
a male companion version too.

I might use the Companions mod too, but usually add mods one at a time
to see if they are stable together.
