Sleep Problem Windows 8

My ASUS laptop will auto sleep if I leave it on for long and then it will be impossible to wake it up. The lights on my keyboard will be on but screen will remain off-ed when I press the command for waking up. Help?

2 places to look for answers. In control panel - > power, edit your settings, you may have keyboard/mouse turned off for wakeup. The other place is in the bios, under c-states, there are wake options somewhere in there too, but I'd check option 1 first.
