Hi all,

I have a GeForce 660ti PE and would like to know what's best for my GPU's lifetime - to keep my desktop on, to switch to sleep mode or to shut it down when not using it.

Generally I use the computer for about half an hour each morning, and then several hours in the evenings pretty much every day.

Thanks in advance!

yea it does not matter much, but if you are not using hte computer and just leaving it on then you can turn it off if you want as that saves a little, still its most unlikley that the gpu or any other components will wear off and die because of it unless you have same parts for about 5+ years then maybe.

i had a computer that i used regular at first but then i had it on for almost 2 years straight...

i had a computer that i used regular at first but then i had it on for almost 2 years straight with some turn off if i went away for a few days but other then that never, and it never got a problem.
