SLI 2 slot gap HB bridge problems

Ive recently bought 2 1080s for an sli config, i purchased the 2 slot gap HB bridge but with my current mother board the HB bridge is ether too long or too short for the sli slots i have. therefore i have been forced to use 2 flexible bridge connectors which will be compromising my performance at 4k which im running, this was the same case with my previous mobo so i figured id buy a new mobo with what looked like 2 slot gap but still no dice. Any solutions or suggestions?

i bought the bridge from overclockers UK and this is what it said: EVGA 2 way Pro HB SLI bridge (2 slot gap) i measured the gap and its nowhere near 60.96mm.

i still dont know i dont know how to tell which one mine corresponds to. I guess its the 2 slot gap one as thats what it said in the description when i bought it.
i measured from each end of the bridge and it is a total of 11cm (110mm).

ok its the bottom 4 slot one. judging from that.
