SLI 970's temps

Hi all.

Installed 970's yesterday in SLI and while things seem to work fine so far I have noticed the top card runs between 38-42 degrees while just browsing or idle and the second card runs around 25 degrees. I expected a few degrees but that difference seems a tad high.

I will note that during load both of them jump up to around the same temp, which so far has been no higher than 64 degrees.

I would also like to add, the mem clock and gpu clock on the second card is really low until I play a game then it matches the top card, I assume this is normal?

Your temps and clocks are perfectly normal. In-fact 64 degrees for load with 2 970's is very good.
Depending on the cooler most people usually hit around 80-85 or even 90 degrees with some of the coolers with 2 cards.

Thanks for the reply! Glad to see all is as it should be.

The cooler on the cards is blower as they are reference cards.
