SLI and PSU Question

I've never run an SLI setup. I have a quality 850w PSU and am thinking about getting 1 more gtx 980. Think that 850w PSU is enough to power 2 980s?

Yes, more than enough. The 165W GTX 980 is a power sipping GPU. Be sure your motherboard does SLI and does it at x8, x8 lanes at least.

Thanks clutch. It's a pretty high end motherboard; Asus Sabertooth x79. Having never setup SLI, I just wanted to ensure. I appreciate the quick response!!

Yeah, that board will do SLI @ x16, x16. You're good to go. If you've got at least a tier 3 850W PSU, it should be more than enough.
