SLI and VRAM question...

So if you have 2x2gb in SLI.. is there zero increase in performance of the vram over having just 2gb vram? There is absolutely zero SLI vram benefit over just a single cards vram?

It will last as long as you need it to. If the next gen of games comes out and needs 3gb to run on 'ultra' textures, you just run on high. It's not like you can't play the game or anything.

People are still playing games on 1GB or under (take a look at the steam hardware survey, 50% of people on steam have 1GB or less). It's not like they aren't enjoying games.
