sli bridge question

I am running two gtx 780s in sli my question is this, where you connect the bridge to the cards there are two connectors on each card, does it make a difference if I connect a bridge to each one as I am only connected to one at the moment.

Yes but on the cards there is two connectors does it make a difference if I connect to both?

You don't need to connect both. This will bring you no benefit/loss. Just connect one card to the other with a single SLI Bridge.
