SLI Compatability

Hello, I really want to go the SLI route right now instead of purchasing a new video card that costs me ridiculous amounts of money as apposed to just doing sli. I have tried my best to understand the req's for doing this, but am still hesitant.

I simply want to know, will these two card be compatable? I have the first, and would like to buy the second.

They will work together. Nvidia SLI requires you to have the same GPU (550ti) and the same amount of VRAM (1GB+1GB) to work.

So the different clock speeds wont matter?

If not, will the slower one speed up to match the other, or will it slow down the other, faster one?

If they stay the same speed, would that mean that when running a game on a monitor that is running from the slower GPU, it would perform less efficient than if on one of the other monitors?

Sorry if some of my questions are dumb. I am trying to understand this SLI stuff the best I can.

Cards in SLI will match the card with the slowest specifications.

Since they will run at equal speeds, there's no less efficient or such.
