SLI config

I've got a GTX 285 installed on a recently upgraded Rampage 3 Extreme mobo. I don't really want to change this graphic card because I've moded it with a Swiftech watercooler and heatsink but I want to add another card in SLI.
The question is, the GTX285 is (still!) $100 more than a newer GTX460 which appears to perform at least as well. I'd like to get a GTX 460 but can I run these 2 cards in SLI? Thaks for the feedback.

Yes you can, they are only 2 way SLi'able though.

Sorry, I misread that as "can two 460's be SLi'd?".

No you can't, if you want SLi then you must get another GTX285...
