SLI different brand graphic cards

Hi Friends,

i am currently using a Gigabyte Gtx 660 Windforce 2b OC gpu. I want to do SLI.


But can i SLI with a different Gtx 660, MIS maybe?

Yes you can just make sure it has the same amount of vram as your current card.

If your gigabyte card has 1 gig and the his card has 1 gig you should be fine.

Exactly in order to SLI two video cards they must have the same GPU. Its also best to have the same amount of memory on the video card. As for the speeds that is not as important because when you SLI two video cards of different speeds the faster card will automatically slowdown to match the speed of the slower card. Let's say you have a 2gb 660 in that case you need another 660 2gb in order for it to work. If you need more help just ask.

Ok.. I have did some research... The msi twin frozr 3 is also 2 gb as mine... Can I buy that??
