SLI dual monitor same image?

so my question is If i have an SLI setup and want to have two monitors running the same image what is the most effective way of doing this? run both screens off of the same card or use the second card for the second monitor? I have two gtx 780's.. and if your wondering why im doing this its because i have one monitor on my desk and the other is mounted over my racing setup.. Thanks

Set your display to duplicate in windows settings and keep your monitors plugged into the same GPU.
