Getting bad frames in some games and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Mobo-MSI Z77-gd65a, CPU- I5 2570k at 4.2ghz, 16g Ram at 1600, GPU= 2x GTX 670 by EVGA in SLI, 750w PSU, Corsair 600t case, H100 CPU cooler. Win 7 x64

Games are running on a 27 inch Asus 2560x1440 monitor.

So in Crysis 2 I get around 33 FPS with the dx11 and texture packs on with everything turned up. I know that 1440p is expensive GPU wise but this doesn't seem right to me. New at the whole SLI thing so who knows. With vsync on i get a constant 60 FPS in BF3 with everything maxed out. Looks like I'm fighting in a painting. Metro 2033 gets around 45 FPS with everything turned up.

Are these numbers normal? Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

vsync locks your maximum fps to 60.

Your numbers look right fps wise.

Run heaven 3.0, it's free and you should be getting around 1500 ish score:

Make sure you have installed the latest drivers.

Good luck.
