Sli Gtx 960 vs single 980?

I currently own a single 960, would it be better to buy another or buy a single 980? I plan on using a 1080p surround setup
P.s. Would a good 600w psu be able to handle two 960s?

Really depends if ur selling and getting a 980 id say get a 970 instead cuz 980 isnt worth its money...
And if ur not selling ur 960 and u have enough money to buy a 980 id say sell the 960 and then get a 980ti...

960 SLI-ed beats a 970 but does not outperform a 980. Not to mention SLI-ed 960s burn more power (62% more) compared to a 980 when both are at 100%. Get a 980, you wont be disappointed.

980 isnt worth the money mate 960 sli does out perform the 970 but the 970 sli is compareable to a 980ti...
So yeah like i said above depends on how hes getting the card

Neither.

At this point I suggest waiting for next-gen which may be here as early as JUNE.

Other:
1. Multi-GPU is always problematic (VRAM isn't currently added so 2x2=2, stutter, may have no support at all..)

2. Next-gen NVidia will add ASync Compute, H.265 and other changes

3. 3x1080p? (Suit yourself, but personally I'd recommend saving up and get a nice GSYNC, 1440p single panel)
