A way to check is to go to NVIDIA control panel > 3D settings > and enable SLi indicators. Then run a game and see what it says - if it has a green box then congratulations! You are using SLI.
Where is the enable sli indicators? I cant seem to find anything in the nvidia control panel referring to sli.
3D settings in the top bar, by Desktop. Sorry for the lack of clarity - it should be in the dropdown menu of 3D settings.
The only thing that drops down from the 3d settings button is "Show Physx visual indicator"
Ok, do you have an SLI bridge between the cards? Just double checking as you need one of them to use SLI
Yes i do
Some checks to do include:
Is SLI enabled in the BIOS?
Make sure that your video cards are properly seated and that the SLI bridge is installed correctly
Get the latest drivers for you BIOS and video card
Verify that Windows Device Manager is showing two identical graphics cards in the Display Adapters section.
If you have an older motherboard, you may need to configure your jumpers to enable SLI. Consult your motherboard manufacturer's manual for instructions.
Sorry if this is a bit repetitive but it's good just to make sure that all of these conditions are fulfilled to ensure SLI works.
