SLI help

Hey all,

Sorry to post 2 questions so close together but I have a 2nd question.

I am using:

Mobo: Foxconn Renaissance
CPU: Core i7 920
GPU: Geforce 8800gt 1gig
RAM: 6gb DDR3
HDD: 2x 7200 SATA
CD/DVD: Sony generic
PSU: 650w generic brand (12v1: 25A, 12v2: 27A) <---- Might be the other way round on the rails
Fans: 1x 250mm, 1x 180mm

My question is, is this psu enough for me to install a 2nd 8800gt 1gig in SLI?

I'm doing the install tomorrow and am scared of blowing the thing up lol

I've tried a couple of psu calculators and they all suggest a wattage about 150w lower but dont mention the 12v rails, any thoughts?

I checked several references. You should be okay. The 8800GT is not a power hungry video card.

An entire pc system with two 8800GT video cards in SLI mode used a grand total of about 327 watts at load. That pretty much matches other technical reviews.
