Hello everyone!
I recently built a new PC. I am starting with a single GTX 980Ti, and may add an additional one down the road.
My question: Is it recommend to add one more 980Ti after 3 years (when performance isn't good)? or should I just go with one single GPU (GTX 2080Ti for example).
The motherboard I purchased is a Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI, which I picked up because of the SLI support.
Thanks.

There is no way to tell in 3 years what the landscape will be like. You need to wait and make the decision then after you can see tests and benchmarks and financially what makes it worth it. In 3 years it may be hard to come by a 980ti thats not used. Or maybe not, who knows.
