Hi all:

With the release of the 3000 series GPU's coming, Im considering upgrading one of my rigs to a 3080 or 3090. Both of my systems currently have NVidia 2080 GTS adapters. One is a GeForce and the other is an MSI. My question is can I use these in SLI mode at all since they are the same card but different manufactures, and if not, what options do I have for using both cards in the same system, and would I gain any performance benefit from that? Any suggestions you have would be appreciated! thanks all!

though generally speaking sli is a bad idea, some games even LOSE performance with sli, thats because devs dont really support sli anymore, it might work, might get you micro-stuttering, might not work at all... forget SLI and go for a better single gpu solution
