I was able to run a SLi patch to unlock the drivers so I can run a Gigabyte GTX 750 and a Gigabyte GTX 750ti in SLi. Both cards are running with 2GB but the ti is running at faster click speeds.

My question is which card needs to be primary? In slot #1.

Solution
I don't think it would matter which card is in the primary slot. Since the top card typically gets warmer I would probably put the 750 there and the Ti in the bottom slot. Also with SLI the card speed is typically dictated by the slower card.
Sorry should have added my system specs.

Intel i7 - 3770s.
Evga Z77 Motherboard.
SanDisk 512GB SSD.
4x4GB G. Skill RipJaw DDR3 1866 RAM.
3x Samsung 1TB Dives - RAID 5.
3x Samsung 2MP. 24 inch monitors.

That answers that.... Thank you. Not used to using SLi. Been using an AMD R9 285 for years with no issue but it finally died. Had both these cards on hand so I figured I would give it a shot.

I knew under SLi RAM doesn't double so 2GB is it. I was hoping the clock speed was determined buy the primary card... guess not.
