Hello, I seem to be having a problem with my SLI setup.
My build Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-z97x-Gaming 7
i7 4790k
16GB PNY 1866 mhz
h100i AIO
EVGA 980 ti HYBRID
MSI 980 ti Gaming
PNY 240 GB ssd
PNY 512 GB ssd
WD 3TB HDD
I have put both GPU's in pcie slot one and tested which is x16 and they both worked fine. I have swapped GPU's in the second slot which is x8 and nothing works. I was very excited to get the second 980 ti since i only paid 280.00 for it. To my dismay nothing i do has worked. Nvidia control gives no SLI option and device manager does not see a second card. The lower card lights up and the fans spin but i can't get it to show up. This is my second z97 motherboard and i am tired of putting money into a dead platform. Please, any advice would be awesome.
