My current gaming, which I bought on a very tight budget of £700 uses an ASRock z87m extreme4 mATX mobo. The video card I use is an msi twin frozr gtx 760. Having only four pcie slots, 1+3 are the two that i coul use for SLI. This is my problem, being a dual slot card, the space between the two cards will be small, causing me to worry about cooling.

My question is, will the cooling be as bad as I am expecting? And will underclocking the cards help remedy this?

If not, can you recommend a new GPU? The 760 is by all means good, but it is starting to show its weakness on newer games. I was hoping to SLI because i can get another for £160, but if SLI is impossible, I wouldn't mind spending up to £400 on a new card.

yeah never get the 760 the r9 280 is 198$ and the gtx 760 240$ yet is weaker than it. If you could return the 760 i would return it and get the r9 280x or 280. I wouldnt suggest sli'ing with that amount of space i just dont think enough air is going to get to the card. Maybe if you turned the fan speed to 100%.

sorry, I wasn't quite clear. (I'm very tired). I have had the 760 for 6 months now. The r9 280 was not released at the time.

oh sorry never mind.

Sadly, the current case has no side fan slots, but every fan slot except the top is filled. Getting a new case soon though so I shall probably wait until then.
