sli or buy a new card

i got a gtx 660 and i was wondering if sli the card is better option than buy a gtx 770?

If you can afford the 970 buy it and sell your current card bound to make about £100 on it plus 970 alone beats a 3x660 sli'd.

I imagine the points are a 3DMark score or some other video card benchmark score.
