Sli or titan?

Hi all. So money aside would you go 2x 980ti in sli, 2x 1080 in sli or new titan x single card.

4k 60fps at max settings is the main goal.
Sli is my problem. Is it good now and is it worth sli.
I havent sli in years.

A single card solution will always be better than SLI, however SLI support has gotten much better over the years, and a dual GTX 1080 setup would be very tempting. I would wait until we see the new Titan X (or XP) performance results, as to my knowledge there are no benchmarks yet. My guess is that a 1080 SLI would still beat the new Titan X, but lets wait until benchmarks come out, then decide if its worth it.
