Hello, I recently added another GPU using SLI bridge, the performance of the GPUs is the same even worse sometimes.

I made sure that SLI is enabled in the Nvidia control panel, the driver is up to date.

Solution
The PSU is fine.

However, this performance is not unexpected for new games. Multi-GPU solutions are as dead as the stagecoach at this point. They're frequently even worse than a single GPU in the newest games. Most of the new cards don't even support SLI and Nvidia stopped including any new SLI driver profiles at the start of 2021.

Unfortunately SLI has been depreciated for some time now and without the support from nvidia and the games companies then it is a dead end, certainly with newer titles.

Even when SLI was popular, performance often varied from game to game depending on support with 2 cards often underperformed a single one.

Long gone are the days of being able to buy 2 mid range GPUs and outperform a top end one! Possibly one of the key reasons why nvidia moved away from the technology
