Hey folks.
I just finished my PC today and it does not seem to recognise the second card being there. I am pretty sure it's installed right. The bridge is on and everything. Is there some kind of special software install? or maybe are you supposed to uninstall drivers?

Running on..

Intel i7 970
Win 7
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
2 x Gigabyte GTX 580's
16gb DDR3
Corsair Professional Series Gold AX 1200W Modular PSU

Cheers for any help.

Ok that didnt work 🙁
Do you know if it makes a difference what PCI-E slot you put them in?
I put the first card in the first slot where it was before. The second one I put in the 4th slot as the second one was covered byt the first card and I wanted to leave the third free so they would have space between them.
Would that make a difference?

I would try removing 1 card so you can test each card 1 at a time. As long as you have a current driver that should be automatic. The x58 should be automatic so you should not need any bios settings. If both cards work alone make sure all pcie power connecters are working.

One other thing. There were two places to put the bridge on the cards. Both right next to each other. Does it matter which one I used?

And thanks for that, will try.

Ok. Both cards are getting power. They both light up and the stock fans spin. I tried connecting each individually and they worked. I even tried updating my mobo drivers.
Still nothing. I'm confused.

You need to use the first and third slots, marked as PCIEX16_1 and PCIEX16_2.
