what is the difference(s) between normal gaming ram and SLI gaming ram? i just ordered 4GB OCZ SLI DDR2 800 ram but dont actually know what the difference is. i read that it help alot if you are running SLI gpu's (which i am 9800GTX+ SLI). any help/info would be great and thanks. i hope i didnt pay just for a SLI logo on my ram sticks.

Mainly an NVidia marketing tool. Just means they are certified to be compatible with SLI motherboards which feature multiple GPU support. The main difference though is the memory has EPP stored in the SPD which essentially means support for better timings out of the box. You'd still be able to achieve this with other memory changing the timings manually.
