SLI support for Dell Precision Tx500

I recently picked up a Dell Precision T5500 for a home VM server lab. But I'm wondering if it'll do for gaming in a pinch. According to Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell_Precision ), the workstation does support SLI. However I'm finding a lot of contrary information on da interwebs. Anecdotal evidence suggests that only the T7500 supports SLI. Can anyone confirm successfully using SLI in a Dell workstation? If so, what model did you get it working on?
