Sup ppl. I've been wondering and I'm thinking of buying a second Geforce gTX 275. How effecient would you guys say SLI has become over the last couple of months? You guys think this would be a worthwhile upgrade?

thanks a lot

My opinion only, but SLI and Crossfire are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Unless, of course, you have a very large monitor, like 28"-30". I have a GTX 275 and it powers either my 22" widescreen or my 24" widescreen more than adequately. When DX11 comes out and some companies actually release some titles which are more graphics intensive than what's currently available, maybe SLI/Crossfire will be needed on smaller screens again. Will have to wait and see to answer that question.

Hey w0tness
I would say since the gtx 275 is a higher tier card and can play basically anything on the market at the time I would leave your computer the way it is now and you can save yourself 200$. Not that it wouldn't help your computer but to what degree probably not to much unless you have a monster of a screen! So if you have a 30in screen go for it, but if not just wait until you actually need it.
