Hi I have a GTX 660 GPU with a single LCD that can work at 60Hz.
Will putting another GTX 660 GPU in SLI will improve performance at 60Hz.??
The CPU is i5-4670, 8Gb DDR3 venegence corsair ram(which i can improve when i buy new card).

The games I play first person shooters like Battlefield 4 and third person like Batman Arkham Origins .

so friend do you recommend SLI or shall i continue with single GPU??

Also one more advice, my mobo is MSI Z87-G43 gaming , it supports cross fire but no SLI,
I have two options here:
1.trade in my mobo for SLI supportive mobo
2.trade in my gtx 660 for AMD 7850 HD
which one is better???

660 is slightly better but the 7850 will overclock much better. realy i would trade in the gtx 660 and dish out for the 280x so you dont need to worry about sli/CF support.

so you intend to go to CF route? so you option is got SLI certified mobo and get a second 660 or trade your 660 for 7850 and get a second 7850 later?

I just purchased my new pc with gtx 660 and MSI Z87-G43, i realised it now that my mobo is not SLI compatible....
The second GPU, i intednd to buy is after 6 months, but on route to that I have these two options, which one will be better??
1.trade in my mobo for SLI supportive mobo
2.trade in my gtx 660 for AMD 7850 HD

you could do that but be careful and do research!

my board is MSI Z87 - G43, can it be hacked to use sli??
