i have one gtx 550ti which is 1 GB. now i Am getting second one .the card with 1 Gb Vram is more costlier then a 1.5GB one . so if i go for the 1.5 GB card , i'm sure i won't be able to SLI it. Can i anyhow do SLI with one 1 GB card and other 1.5 GB card ? HOW

Solution
^But he said "the card with 1 Gb Vram is more costlier then a 1.5GB one".

@pratmodi,

As I know, the system will just automatically use the 1.0GB out of the 1.5GB VRAM of the newer card & you do not need to do anything.

i said that the 1.5 GB one is way more cheaper then 1 GB version

I know but the 1.5GB card is not a reference design and their as seems to be a rise in the amount of people having issues with SLi'ing cards that have different amounts of RAM it seems even more pointless than ever to buy into potential compatibility issues. For what reason is the 1.5GB so much cheaper?
