SLI with 2 GTX 650 Ti's or just 1 GTX 970

I'm looking to upgrade my video card and I already have a GTX 650 Ti. Should I do SLI with another one, or just get something better?

One 970 GTX. It's more powerful and will play games better than two 650s in SLI.
