hey, i dont know much about 2 graphic card builds so im going to ask before i buy. I currently run a gtx 1060 3gb (i won the pc in a giveaway wasnt my choice to go 3gb over 6gb) and it barely reaches 144fps on most games, plus i want to start streaming so that being said can i get another graphics card say another gtx 1060 or even a 1080 and put in in my pc and use them both for one game? If i can , can someone help me with the things i need to buy to make a working sli thanks!

Full spec list : i7 6700k, 16gb ddr4 ram @ 3200, geforce gtx 1060 3gb,z170m plus motherboard, ega 900w power supply

that depends on your Whole Setup... Please list your PC specs above...
Also, take in mind that a single card tends to be way more efficient and effective than SLI... So for now 1080 is the way to go... Unless there is no chance in re-selling the 1060 and you are forced to purchase another 1060 to increase performance...

well you got more than enough to do SLI... then the very best economic solution would be to purchase another 1060 of the same brand and do SLI with your previous one.
That should be enough to stream and play at 144hz in 1080p

Native SLI is not gonna happen for 2 reasons.
1. If this is your motherboard
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z170M-PLUS/specifications/
It does not support SLI.
2. The GTX 1060 does not support SLI.

While there is software that can force SLI it's buggy and usually causes more problems than it's worth.
