Hello, I made a new rig :

ASUS A8N SLI Premium
AMD Athlon 64 4000+
2 x 7900 GTX
x-power 700watt GPU (not that great at high res, shuts comp down)
2 x Maxtor SATA 200G

Problem is that whenever i install a new driver it says that the cards are not connected by a bridge....they are infact 🙁 Ive contacted the company I ordered the mobo from and they are going to repair/replace (hopefully) the bridge. But from this screen shot i'll post, can you at least tell me if SLI is working, if only on the mobo? Thanks!!

I was worried that one card might not be working, i was going to try each card on its own, but being rather chunky i cant get the release catch off the cards. I dont wanna damage the mobo. I plug the monitor into the second card in the black port but nothing happens, but i think thats normal right??

It says SLI will still work, but withought the connection that it wont work at optimal. Please help im really annoyed GGRRRR!!!

Also even thought i have the latest drivers, I cant get x16 SLI AA in the nvidia options anymore. I can only get x8s.....????

i own 2 7900GTXs in SLi, with a bridge. I dont have CS but it doesnt look like it is in SLi, its looks kinda fuzzy and scratchy from here, but that could just be the picture. How much FpS are you getting in game? If you have Any of the COD series and look at FpS for that,i can immediately tell you if its in SLi or not.

Sorry I dont have COD, maybey i'll download the demo. What about the green line on the left, this grows and shrinks during gameplay, does this indicate sli? It used to be a thin green line across the the whole screen at one point (maybey different drivers?) Now i get the verticle line. I cant even find any screen shots on google to see if its SLI or not aaarrgggghh!!
