Hello,
I have read all the replies Bonnie got to her request for "Slideshow"
earlier in the month.

I have 585 photo's taken abroad, (.jpgs) that I want to burn into a
slideshow with an .exe or whatever it needs to be self executing but I
also want to add a very brief note for each photo

e.g.
Vancouver
Mountain goats
Mountain sheep
Black Bear
Grizzly Bear
Jasper
The Rockies

and so on. I have downloaded at considerable time and expense a lot of
various trials but like Bonnie find some allow 20 pictures,
or no text...

Help, please someone must have something that can do this.

Regards: Mel

Try Paint Shop Photo Album. Free 30 day trial download at www.jasc.com.
For longer text than can be shown with a picture, a text slide can be added
just before or after a picture.

I highly recommend MyAlbum.

Have a look at Memories On TV 2.1 http://www.picturetotv.com/ which can
do everything you want plus a lot more. You can download a free trial,
but, it has a banner across the resulting slide show. However the price
is quite reasonable and having tried a variety of these slide show
software applications including PSP Album I believe you will find it
matches some of the best and is superior to most at a fraction of their
cost. Don't take my word for it though, look and try.

For 40 bucks you can buy a DVD player that will play (slideshows) of any
CD you can make on a computer.
Minitek 1600 is one.
I have played over 300 pictures for 25 minutes.

Sorry, I was under the impression we were talking about software to
make slide-shows, add text etc. I must pay more attention to the
subject.

I agree. MyAlbum will do exactly what you want. It will also allow you
to add background music which can make your slideshow much more
interesting.
