Hi, I just received my new AMD Radeon R9 270. However, when I play games such as Just Cause 2 and BeamNG, I can see faint black dots in the lower lighted areas of the screen. They're not visible enough to really effect the quality of the gameplay, but I'd rather the game look as good as possible. Any suggestions? I got the GPU "slightly used" from Amazon.

Slightly used might equal "slightly dotted" as well. Try cleaning the teeth on the GPU with a clean eraser and reinstalling. Make sure it's completely seated. Make sure the PCI power cables are completely seated and make sure there are no slightly bent pins on either end of the monitor cable. Maybe try another or different style monitor cable.

What is the model number of your power supply. A very high number of GPU issues are directly related to cheap or poor quality power supplies, or supplies that don't have sufficient capacity.

If none of these issues applies, it's likely the card itself, but I would also double check to ensure I had the most recent motherboard bios installed and that you manually check to see that you have the...
