Noticing slight ghosting from my monitor while playing fast paced games such as csgo and rocket league. Been driving me absolutely nuts. Using DVI to connect monitor to PC, also have already made sure the cable is ok and no other cable are touching it.

I have a i5 6600k and GTX 1070.

I took a video but I'm not positive if you'll be able to see. (I watched vid on two different monitors with different cables and was still able to see the ghosting): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1r-szZhxeU&feature=youtu.be

When I move my mouse back and forth you (or just I) can see slight black ghosting of the cursor.

It has 3D nvidia lightboost which I read that could cause ghosting maybe, but it's a brand new monitor and if there's anyway to avoid this small ghosting i'd love to find out lol.

I am not sure if I am seeing it BUT:
1. Completely re-install the newest driver again (just to be sure)
2. Re-calibrate your monitor. RMB-->Display Setting-->Advanced Display Settings-->Color Calibration

Also, when I bought my new 144 monitor it came with messed up color profile. I had to spend some time googling for different color profiles and trying them out before I found my eye candy. Perhaps you should try searching for different color profile for you monitor and installing it?

cable/connection/calibration/color management will NOT affect ghosting.
the screen is doing that.

check that your screen is set to counter motion: on asus its called trace-free, other brands might name it different.
turn it to max and see if it helps.

Would that be in the monitor settings or gpu? I can't seem to find anything similar.

moni, might wanna check the manual, as not all monis have it in the same spot.

mine is menu->image-->trace free or what else it might be called.(crank up to max)..

turn off lightboost (for a try), as this seems to be good for 3D mode only.

I've been looking through my settings and I can't seem to find it, here's the manual if you would like a look.
