Slipstreaming complete Xp Sp3 from Pata To sata Hdd {keeping the sata Configuration intact}

How Do I Slipstream Xp SP3 complete old system that is on Pata Hdd on a new Sata Hdd, running Xp SP3 successfully?
Extra info—- i mean both hdd are running successfully but how can i bring all my programs and settings that are on old pata hdd on new sata hdd ? Offcourse without changing Its sata drivers and Nature

Just to clarify, is this your situation:
You have XP running on a PATA HDD.
You want to transfer the OS to a new SATA HDD and still have it run the same. Note that this WILL require driver changes.

Is this going to run in the same computer, or be the system drive for a new one. If for a new one, how did it get installed on the old drive - did you buy a copy and do the install, or did it come with the computer?

A side question - why are you still running XP? It's no longer supported, so you are running a great security risk.

Yes It is going to run in the same computer

I am still running XP because i have Malware Bytes, Zone Alarm and Bitdefender installed besides i do regularly get Microsoft updates and they will continue till 2018 so Absolutely No security problem AT ALL

You need to clone the drive to the new drive, with a minor change to settings. You can either buy a paid version of something like Acronis True Image that has a "restore to dissimilar hardware" feature that will adjust the drivers, or to take the riskier approach of
1) Clone the drive to the new drive with freeware like Parted Magic or Easeus.
2) Take out the old drive
3) Try to boot to safe mode with the new drive
4) Run the repair installation. Sorry, I can't help you with this one; I haven't done a repair installation since Windows 7.
