Hi everyone,

Im trying to get two 1.1Ghz Coppermines running in my Thunder GX but it will
only detect one.

I have sucessfully added CD0 microcode to the bios and a single cpu will run
in either slot but if I insert two cpus then only one is detected. Im using
two MSI 6905 Master slockets (V2.3) and they work dual in other boards. Is
this a slocket or a bios problem? Has anyone had anysucess with this board
and slockets?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Update:
I managed to fix it. You have to solder Pin N33 on the socket to pin 3 of
the SMP jumper and set the SMP jumper to coppermine.

In conjunction with the modified bios the board then performs superbly with
excellent stability. Apparently Abit Slocket IIIs and Asus 370DLs are the
only slockets that work unmodified.
