Can a slot a thunderbird run on the kx133 chipset- For example on an Asus K7V?

So the answer seems to be yes in low speeds on the abit board. What about Asus? Anyone tried it, got a good link etc.?

Still itching for a straight answer from someone who's tried it. I'll try moving this one up once, if no one knows for sure that's cool I won't bug you guys with this one again.

Apparently Asus made a motherboard the Asus K7V-T to address this problem. however it is possible to modify a standard K7V to T spec, I have seen references to this modification...but have not yet searched or read one.

Look around..I believe K7Vs have a site www.K7V.com that will be a good place to start...I also have a K7V..good board.

I've the official line is no. However some people have had some success on the Asus K7V. If you really want to do it, try one out before being 100% committed. eg. Make sure the place you buy it from will let you take it back if it doesn't work. Be warry, some retailers have a restocking fee, typically 20-30%.
