slot loading blu ray drive.

Hey guys, got a new desktop case, but the 5-1/4" bay is designed in such a way that you would need a slot loading blu ray drive, or the kind were the CD sticks to the tray. If it helps, here is a link of the case.

does anybody know of one that will satisfy my needs? It doesn't have to have a blu ray burner, but it must burn DVD and CD.
any help is appreciated.

That case does not require a slot loading style optical drive. You pop out one of the 5.25 inch bay covers and mount a conventional optical drive in the 5.25 inch bay. That gives you many more options to choose from.

I've never seen a 5.25" optical drive in the style you described 🙁

That's... a very odd case. Seems like it's designed primarily designed to sit horizontally, but they tout its ability to stand vertically, making the 5.25" optical drive useless. O_O

Using an optical drive vertically is typically not an issue. I have used similar cases many times before and this orientation really is a non-issue.
