Seeing that I am to lazy to look this up myself.

Can someone please explain to me the changes between the T-Bird & Palomino chips that allow for a continued increase in Mhz. My understanding is that they are both built on the 0.18micron process and the T-Bred will be 01.13u, that being the case how can they tune up the Mhz without frying the chip, and how far do you think it will get to with this core?

Thanks.

Barton is basically Thoroughbred but using IBM's SOI technology (Silicon on Insulator)
Appalooza (why does AMD use these stupid names) is basically a .13 micron Duron for the Value Desktop and Value Mobile segments.
